1. Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping within the United States typically takes 3 to 5 business days, depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package ships.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, StoneIron Defense primarily ships within the United States and its territories due to export regulations on firearm components. Please review US ITAR/EAR guidelines or contact our support team before placing an international inquiry.
What is your return and refund policy?
We accept returns on unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. If you received a defective component or the wrong order, please reach out to info@stoneirondefense.com to initiate a return or exchange.
2. Materials, Quality & Manufacturing
What materials are StoneIron Defense components made of?
Our optic plates, mounts, and hardware are precision-engineered and CNC-machined from high-grade materials, including 4140 steel and 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, designed to withstand severe reciprocating slide weight and heavy recoil.
Are StoneIron Defense products made in the USA?
Yes. All of our precision optic plates and mounting hardware are manufactured and quality-tested in the United States to ensure strict tolerances and maximum durability.
Do your optic plates require custom gunsmithing to install?
Most of our optic plates are designed for direct drop-in fitment on specific factory slides (e.g., 1911 variants, Springfield Prodigy). However, we always recommend verifying slide footprint dimensions or having a qualified gunsmith install to ensure correct torque specs and threadlocker application.
3. Dealer & Wholesale Program
Do you offer volume discounts for dealers and gunsmiths?

How do I verify if a product is compatible with my specific optic or firearm?
Each product page lists detailed compatibility specs for red dot footprints (e.g., RMR, Holosun, RMSC) and pistol slides. If you are unsure about your slide cut or optic footprint, email us at support@stoneirondefense.com before ordering, and our technical team will assist you.
